Let's Expand The Sky – in Black and White
Digitised video, 10'23''
The film White Black challenges conventions of photography, graphic art, film and performance, marking Hugo Roelandt’s turn to more radical experiments with different media. The music is composed by Paul Geladi, who was part of the performance group Dr. Buttock’s Players Pool, alongside Roelandt and artists like Ria Pacquée and Luc Steels. Of Roelandt’s early collaborators, Geladi was one of the few with whom he reconnected later in life, working together on what Roelandt would call his ‘post performance’ works.
